Other CCI efforts:
- Sent team of CCI staff and volunteers to Houston immediately after hurricane to assist with relief efforts in shelters
- Organized an interfaith service in observance of the National Day of Prayer for Hurricane Victims (learn more)
- Represent the Diocese of Boise on the Governor’s Evacuee Resettlement Task Force
- Serve as members of the Interfaith Committee on Evacuee Resettlement and the Long Term Recovery Committee for the State of Idaho
- Created a large database of donations/volunteers
- Sponsored parish project to collect backpacks with school supplies
- Sponsored team of St. Vincent de Paul volunteers to assist in ongoing recovery efforts in Houston
- Provided transportation cost for 27 foot trailer filled with first aid and emergency supplies, food and water, pet supplies, baby supplies, hygiene items and another 27 foot trailer filled with clean mattresses
